neighborhoods. The Carmen Bracamonte
Foundation through its philanthropic programs
and partnerships will fund initiatives focused on creating job opportunities in
education, arts, workforce development, and economic opportunity.
While we obviously have long ways to go to get people health care, housing and education, and to deal with personal and national debt in a world where globalization adds more challenges than solutions, the most pressing issue for a lot of Americans continues to be “Jobs.” There are too many people out of work and fewer jobs. This reality posts a question at The Carmen Bracamonte Foundation. Who really needs to be the solution to the problem?
We believe that America has changed forever, and that Americans need to be creative and resourceful more than ever to survive the new economy. What are the jobs of today and the kind of training needed to be successful with job search? Traditional job search is obsolete and non-efficient. The skills once learned through formal education are often threatened by technology and globalization. At The Carmen Bracamonte Foundation, we believe that when people have the opportunity to develop their talents and own uniqueness, our local communities thrive.
