PROJECTS WE SUPPORT
Jobs for Baby-Boomers
With unemployment rates still in double digits in many parts of the country, if you are a Baby-Boomer, you might be thinking about a career change, but going back to school for a degree might be beyond your means— whether is financially or emotionally. You may feel protected by unemployment benefits and assistance that workforce agencies provide for a while, but their overloaded caseworkers pipeline doesn’t facilitate for you to set a coaching appointment or get a call back. We must change the outlook by providing real-life training opportunities-- those you don't learn at school but in real-life experiences.
Jobs for Millennials
If you are a millennial, the misperception that young people do not care about hard work and that all they do is to master social media and text-messaging, it is nothing further from the truth. Young people are creative and have the ability to cross-train themselves without the accruing of businesses’ high investment on training. This is a plus on this generation. We just have to guide them in the right direction to find meaningful jobs.
